What Is a Cap Tee?
A Cap Tee is a specialized pipe fitting that combines the function of a tee connection with an integrated end cap structure. It is designed to redirect or terminate flow within piping systems while reducing the number of welded joints and installation space required. Compared with conventional fabricated branch connections, a Cap Tee provides improved structural integrity, simplified assembly, and better pressure resistance in compact piping layouts.
Cap Tee components are widely used in oil & gas systems, chemical processing plants, power generation facilities, food-grade pipelines, and industrial fluid transportation projects where reliable branch connections and sealed terminations are required.
